Cone
Photography
Composed in front of the factory entrance, the road which is shared by vehicles coming in and going out, and their drivers showing up and leaving work. As I waited for my guide to register my identification, this juxtaposition caught my eye, and made me wonder the significance of this center traffic cone, which divided the two lanes, and their two directions. It is the cone that would remain in the driver’s periphery should they be not allowed in, and have to make a U-turn. The cone looks to be used, but still colorful. The way strips of parachute cloth and haphazard bits of rope seem to layer the cone brings me great aesthetic satisfaction.
