I find towers (and “open-worked” structures) beautiful. Mesmerizing. Intriguingly simple and easily satisfying.

Its - to an outsider - complete randomness stemming from decades (possibly more) of engineering, perfecting, and refining: rendered meaningless and incomprehensible by its shape, its lines, bars, points of connection - all of which jumped at the aesthetic-seeking enthusiast who lacks any idea or information, staring at it blank-mindedly against the horizon, the mountains, the sky.
